Shekinah Trading Ltd is the entrepreneurial and innovative trading arm of Shekinah.  A true social enterprise, which works independently of external funding, it benefits the lives of those experiencing homelessness; promotes inclusion and partnership and plays a positive role within the local community.

With many of its staff, volunteers and management team having experienced homelessness, Shekinah Trading Ltd empowers its workers whilst successfully carving out a profit making niche in the highly competitive constructionand service industry. 

With a strong work ethic running through its veins, it provides suitable Shekinah clients with employment and a route to sustainable economic self sufficiency.

Generating a reliable income stream for The Shekinah Mission on Bath Street, Shekinah Trading provides multi disciplined, skilled construction labour on a sub contract basis for building projects in Plymouth and the South West. 

Making a positive environmental impact and reducing its carbon footprint wherever possible, it also provides property maintenance, plastering, masonry, painting and decorating and cleaning services for landlords, local authorities and housing associations.
